Field Notes Bakeshop is a coastal bakery rooted in craft, community, and creativity. Based in Anchor Bay, CA, we specialize in French-inspired baking, with a love for bringing both timeless classics and unexpected flavors to the table.

Founded by Alexandra Osmidoff, Field Notes is the result of years spent working in some of Northern California’s celebrated bakeries and restaurants, including intensive training at the San Francisco Baking Institute, where Alexandra refined her skills and deepened her passion for the craft.

At Field Notes, you’ll find both the familiar comforts of a bagel, french pastry, or scone and the delight of new flavor discoveries. Alexandra has a special fondness for surprising combinations, like Tahini Banana Bread, Miso Cheddar Biscuits, and Artichoke Turnovers. For her, baking is both tradition and exploration, an ever-expanding realm of possibility where curiosity and technique meet.

More than just a bakery, Field Notes is a gathering point—a way of connecting with neighbors and visitors through food made with care.
